Roy [Amedessa]
Shell [Gideon]
Christie [Sarafina]
This RPG takes place approximately 300 years after the reign of Roald II and Shinkokami. Since then, Tortall has remained the most prominent power in the Eastern Lands and alongside with its Yamani allies, has advanced in technology and begun to explore the distant shores of the Western Reaches.
In 703 HE, King Artagan II––the last living male descendant and heir of the Conté line––died and the throne was thrust upon the head of his eldest daughter, Amedessa Elestra. Although not shy of female figures taking charge, not all in Tortall are comfortable with being ruled by a queen and some are concerned about to whom the Crown will go to next. The nobility in Corus are especially worried about the condition of Tortall as a state, under and after Amedessa's reign. If she fails to produce or choose an adequate heir, Tortall could endure a bloody revolution like that of its neighbour, Tusaine, in which the royalty and aristocracy were mercilessly executed by the common people.
While Corus basks in the concerns of the "Old World", Port Caynn is becoming well acquainted with the "New". It is a city brimming with diversity, activity and violence, welcoming pirates and foreigners, traders and gangsters, the Rogue and the Shang.
Switchwicket Market The Switchwicket Market is held at odd hours in Keepsakes. It is the black market of Port Caynn, where smugglers and shady merchants and peddlers sell their wares.

Lady Buckwynne's The shining star of Keepsakes is Lady Buckwynne's brothel, kept full of pretty lassies for all the lonesome in Port Caynn.

The Warehouse There's a shoddy warehouse in Keepsakes that is attached to the fringes of the old shipyards that Port Caynners refer to as The Warehouse. If you're looking for the Rogue, you'll find them lurking around here after dark.

Shiner's Alley If you wind up in Shiner's Alley, the Port Caynners say, you usually wind up dead. Shiner's Alley is notorious for fights after dark and is often where somebody gets sent if someone wants them dead––or "shined". By day, Shiner's Alley is crammed with a few shady stalls selling mysterious wares (oftentimes poisons and potions of infinite varieties) from all corners of the world.
