Selene made a soft groan at the mention of weaving. She had spilled enough of her own blood attempting at that when at the Convent. " Goddess... I swear I can not weave or sew to save my own life. I never really have had the skill for such things, I'd much rather just write a report or something, that I could do." She replied, and realizing she had went off on her own tangent there, she blushed and changed the subject back to what it was.
" The mundane can be a good thing, at least nothing bad happens then. But you are most certainly not a bore. I'd rather have someone tell me the most dull story in the world then have this elaborate tale that is nothing more that thoughtless lying spew from the mouth of someone looking for attention."

Aislin allowed herself a small smile at the Archduchess’s final remark. “Then woe be to all the minstrels and players of the world, for is not their purpose to tell tales and entertain others?” she asked, putting a hand to her heart in a dramatic fashion as she made the transition from a serious ship’s captain to the courtier she was brought up to be. “Whatever shall they do if they find that your Highness does not approve of their gift to the world?”
Flashing a small smile at the sister of the Queen to show that she was jesting, Aislin adopted a more serious manner. “I am glad, however, that her Highness does not think me a bore,” she said. “I am afraid that my crew often feels otherwise, though.”
