West Wing

The majority of the New Palace's West Wing is a regal ballroom, situated at the end of the wing with a breathtaking array of windows lining three of its four walls. The ballroom opens to a broad stretch of gardens, into which parties often spill when they become too crowded inside. Over the past century, the Palace has always kept entertaining illusionists on the grounds to create spellbinding scenes and decorations for the ballroom; these illusions have never failed to impress foreign visitors and skeptical nobles attending Palace Balls. Also in the West Wing is the Royal Hall, where Court sessions are held. The Royal Hall is elaborately done, comfortably furnished and styled similarly to an amphitheatre. Some official offices have also been squeezed into the West Wing, but each are finely and pleasingly detailed.
