Ohh, here are some of my favourites, in no particular order. The Terminal The Illusionist The Four Feathers The Count of Monte Cristo The Bourne Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum The Road to El Dorado Goodbye Lenin! Pirates of the Caribbean Indiana Jones and the Lost Crusade Jurassic Park (yes, I was a dino geek as a kid ) Ratatouille My Big Fat Greek Wedding Walk the Line Pirates of the Caribbean Master and Commander A Knight's Tale Casanova Pride & Prejudice The Princess Pride Sweet Land Really... anything Disney that I grew up with. Which pretty much includes anything Pixar and anything up to Lilo & Stitch. I also want to say... the Road to El Dorado... is pure genius. I never get tired of it! There have been some other ones that I've found pretty good, but I have to say those are some of my tops. The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favourite books too––definitely one that is overdue for a reread.

The Road to Eldorado is brilliant. As is The Princess Bride and Pirates of the Caribbean. I saw the Bourne Identity, and bits and pieces of the second one but not the whole way through.
A couple of my favorite movies are (in no specific order):
The Princes Bride The Road to Eldorado Pirates of the Caribbean Indian Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark The Sting Singing in the Rain A Knight's Tale Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat The Sandlot Lord of the Rings Trilogy Star Wars (all six of them) Pretty much most things Disney or Pixar (or both).
That's about everything I can think of off the top of my head.

I love The Princess Bride so much. (although sadly I probably saw it for the first time before you guys were even born!) The book is fabulous as well, bizzarely I own three copies of it after a slight christmas list slip up. I mostly love more offbeat films, I'm a big fan of world cinema and independant movies...my top list is massive but some of my absolute faves are: Little Miss Sunshine Goodbye Lenin! Hedwig and the Angry Inch Brotherhood of the Wolf Shortbus La Haine Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Being John Malkovitch Grosse Point Blank My Own Private Idaho but then I have a lot of more mainstream films that are like comfort food in movie form: Cant Hardly Wait The Lost Boys American Werewolf in London Lilo and Stitch The Goonies Lord of the Rings Rent Moulin Rouge Master and Commander Pirates of the Carribean (the first movie, I generally ignore the other two except for dirty!Norrington looking all rugged) oh so many movies!

I'm pretty sure the Road to El Dorado is one of the few animated kids' movies where the main characters gamble, go skinny dipping, get totally smashed, make out with another character and... oh what else? That movie is great... haha.
"How did you get those!?" "Where was she keeping them..."
Miguel. <3
The Lives of Others is another good movie. Bella Martha is cute too––aka, the German film that No Reservations is a measley knock-off of.

Who put the glad in gladiator? If I had to pick some Disney faves, the Lion King, Hercules and Mulan would probably be my top three. And yeah, the Road to El Dorado isn't new. I actually didn't like it when I first saw it as a kid, but it was one of those movies I rewatched and was like 'dude... this is HILARIOUS'.

Picking a Disney favourite would be hard. Even picking a top three or five...Some that I really like would be Hercules, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, The Lion King...bah, pretty much everything except some of the more recent stuff.

I saw Beowulf the other day at the London IMAX, so it was the 3D version.
I personally thought it was fantastic. As someone who's spent a large amount of time studying the Saxons in general and studying Beowulf specifically at university I thought that although it deviated from the traditional story, it was actually true to the spirit of the legend. More importantly it captured the spirit of Saxon culture.
Once I got used to the animation and to Ray Winstone's cockney accent for Beowulf I thought it worked really well in that format...it's a legend so it works to remove it completely from the real world by animating it and Beowulf is pretty rough and kick ass in the book so it makes sense for a tough bloke like Ray Winstone to do his voice, plus it seemed to make the more sensitve bits all the more touching.
I thought it was thoroughly entertaining as well and best...dragon...ever!
