Here are just some things to keep in mind when creating your characters. -In nobility, only the eldest son really matters. Second sons depend on their families/older brother for support or are forced to fend for themselves. The Royal Naval Academy is a good outlet for characters like these. -Times are more conservative than they were in medieval Tortall. Girls are expected to follow a more feminine gender role and follow societal norms. This would include things like wearing a corset and finding an advantageous marriage. -If you already have a girl character, try playing a guy the second time around. -You can be a pirate!
