Hi, I've been lurking around the board for a bit, thinking about applying. I was in a tortallian RP but it died sadly. My first character, the only character thought I was making, is Regan of Wellam, a noblewoman. But as it usually goes a character appeared in my mind demanding to be played also. Sooo I will probably be applying for two characters if that's okay. If not Lisan will wait... impatiently.
Anywho. I was wondering about the Bazhir, specifically is the queen the voice of the tribes (a woman! *le gasp*) or is someone else? Lisan is half bazhir so I am wondering who she communicates with each night. I know it's hundreds of years down the road but I can't see the Bazhir moving on from something so important to them.

Interesting. In my seven years of roleplaying, I think this is the first time I've ever seen a new player want to apply for two characters at once.
Most boards have a rule stating that a player must play a character for a month or so before applying for another, just to make sure the new member will be active and whatnot. However, there is no such rule actually written out on this board that I could find, so I'll have to admit that I honestly don't know.
I know that's not very helpful, but I think I can be a bit more so in regards to your second question. The Voice is not an inherited role. Jon was chosen by the previous Voice, so I suppose when he grew old he would have chosen the next. Therefore, I doubt the queen in the current Voice.

I only wanted to apply for Regan but Lisan is a very forceful girl apparently. I had been planning that later I would apply for a butcher (I studied medieval butchers last semester but updating it to the 18th century would be easy) but I'm not sure how Lisan was created in my head.
I am finishing Regan's profile first, I'll try to hold back Lisan for a bit.
Thanks for the answer, I suppose when it comes to it I'll make up a name, if it ever does, I'm sure I can get away with "The Voice" for a long time.

Sounds like a good plan to me.
