The Basics[/u]
Any member may create a character biography and put it up for audition. These characters can be characters you create but don't have time to play, characters you are giving up, or just characters for the sake of creating characters. If an audition is a non-Admin audition, applicants must wait until the audition receives an approval from one of the two admins (Roy or Nana).
Anyone may audition for a character here. Guest posting is enabled in case there are prospective joiners who are perhaps interested in auditioning for their first character rather than applying.
Do not make accounts for any characters in the audition forum. Only when you have won the part can you make the character for yourself. Once you have created your account for your character, post the biography in the Character Application forum. A moderator or admin will move it to the Accepted Applications from there if they see that everything looks good.
The person who posts the audition will state their requirements for the audition. The format for the biography should be modelled after the application template.
All auditions must require a sample post with a minimum of 3-4 paragraphs. The person auditioning must role play as the character they are auditioning for.
Only Admins may create captain auditions. This is so that you folks cannot work around the captain system.
If you play a high ranking noble, don't audition for another high ranking noble.
Auditioning may be done in the thread itself, or over e-mail. When critiquing auditioners, be positive and helpful; if we find that you are being rude to applicants we will curb your audition-creating privelages. So be nice! You do however have a right as the creator of the auditon to say whether or not you think the person will fit the part of the character you have created.
